Though often tricky to capture the light and color play within opals through a lens, these pictures taken at dusk caught a peak of the reds, pinks, oranges and greens that are found within the growth structure of this Ethiopian Blue Nile opal. Set in our classic studio milled 22 karat gold bezel atop an open backed base and shank of sterling silver. High polish finish. Shank width of 8 mm. Top measurements of 21.75 mm vertical x 17.20 mm horizontal x 10 mm gem height. Ring size 8.
